Mathew Mammen (brother)

Hi everyone.

I’m Mathew. I am Laine’s brother.

I must say, when she was little, she wasn’t much of the energetic girl she is today. However, around the age of 3, she became a ball of life, and even though that ball of life could be too much for me, it was there, brightening up the household. The last 3 years of her life were amazing, filled with friends and laughter and family. I remember when we would fight over the TV remote, and then Vijay, Laine’s nanny, would bring around some sense to the situation. Speaking of Vijay, if it weren’t for her, Laine wouldn’t be the girl she is today.  Thank you Vijay. Back to Laine, I remember how she always wanted to do everything I did. As siblings go, I didn’t always let her do those things, but most of the time, I would teach her how to do what I was doing, be it folding paper airplanes, doing martial arts, skiing, and with my dad’s help, I taught her how to ride a bike. When Laine drove my mom completely nuts, I tried to help, talking to her, and trying to teach her.  I love my crazy little sister, and I will always remember her and cherish her.

Thank you
