HEB – Honey Egg and Banana

Posted in Age Six, Home, Laine and Daddy, Laine Daily Life, Photo | 0 comments

I invented a breakfast treat called HEB.  In a spoonful of honey, I would fry sliced bananas.  The smell was gorgeous.  As the banana slices approached golden brown, with small bits of the honey just starting to caramelize, I would stir in scrambled egg (that I had beaten and seasoned with a dash of salt).  Serve hot, and prepare to be dazzled.  Laine and Mathew had a love hate relationship with HEB.  In this pair of pictures, we have both love and hate, plus one and minus one on a sine wave of interest.

This version of HEB uses M&Ms rather than honey.  MEB
