Made by Laine shortly before St Francis’ day in Sunday School with Claire.  Fluffy was the lone surviving chicken of an original four-pack.  Fluffy’s life was fascinating and full of drama. She was sadly the bottom of the literal pecking order among Yolanda, Blackie, Chip and herself.  She was always the last out of the coop, the last to eat, the last for everything.  Then Chip got sick, and slept outside the coop.  Fluffy slept with her outside the coop the entire night, and every night until Chip died.   Yolanda was stolen away (we think a large bird or a mountain lion), and Fluffy became a close companion to Queen of the flock Blackie.  Eventually Blackie too got sick, and Fluffy stayed with her too until she died.  And there was Fluffy, Queen of the backyard.  And now blessed by God.
