“Be the Guinea Pig”

In Feb 2014, while Alex and Buffy were away skiing, we took care of their guinea pigs BoBo and CoCo (affectionately called, in our house, BoCoQue…).  Laine sensed that they were concerned and more than a little freaked out with their new environment.  She wondered what to do.  She closed her eyes tightly, saying “be the guinea pig”.   She decided that she would bring Shutterfly, the My Little Pony character that is known to be good with all animals.  A characteristically empathetic move for Laine.  She say Fluttershy near their cage.  The giant yellow pony with its big owl-like eyes did not have the intended effect.  “I don’t think this is working”, said Laine.  She then brought the entire crew (this picture).
